PARIS, Nov. XX -- Lionax International Holdings Corp. (EURONEXT: MLION) has released a new generation of its SecuNavi™ and SecuTravel™ products, which offer customers greater value by integrating TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System) and GPS automotive electronics and demonstrates the company’s strategy of integrating technologies.
John Min, Vice President of Engineering, said: "Automotive electronics integration is a core part of Lionax's strategy and we are continually working to develop smarter products which will help to reduce complexity, installation effort, weight, packaging and ultimately cost for our customers - in addition to improving functionality in some instances. With the broadest portfolio of TPMS products in the industry, Lionax is well placed to maximize all integration opportunities. "
"Today's electronic architecture is highly complex. The industry needs to find smarter ways to add value to vehicle manufacturers as technology advancement continues to accelerate."
Lionax is highlighting a number of new technologies that support its integration strategy. These products can be further enhanced with driver assistance sensors, such as radar and cameras, to augment both performance and functionality.
SecuNavi™/SecuTravel™
Lionax has launched its next generation of integrated TPMS products: SecuNavi™ and SecuTravel™, which allow for the combination of GPS, TPMS, GPRS and Wireless Rearview Camera.
Jason Lim, Vice President of Marketing, added: "Traditionally, TPMS™ have been introduced as standalone systems. To enhance value, our integrated SecuNavi™/ SecuTravel™ products present a viable way to reduce the number of monitors in the vehicle while increasing the functionality of the TPMS. SecuNavi™ is the first commercially available product to integrate GPS, TPMS and a Wireless Rearview Camera in a single, easy to use configuration at an affordable price.”
Lim added: “Here at Lionax we like to say SecuNavi™ not only gets you there, SecuNavi™ gets you there safely and affordably.”
“SecuTravel™ takes the functions in SecuNavi™ one step further by adding GPRS, the cellular phone technology. GPRS navigation costs less to operate and also offers two-way communications. Therefore if the driver needs to communicate with a head office or send an SOS for help, SecuTravel™ can provide this service.”
Finally, Lionax continues to develop its 'Pressure Eye Sensors' concept based on its Ring Oscillator Pressure Sensor Chip (ROP) platform, which is designed with maximal performance in mind to allow for the integration of a range of functions for tire safety.
"Lionax's detailed knowledge of advanced tire pressure sensor electronics combined with its solid experience positions us well to support our customers in the area of intelligent tire safety," said James Yang, CEO of Lionax.
“Lionax's SecuNavi™/SecuTravel™ and TPMS products provide a competitive solution for all vehicles. In the United States, tire pressure monitoring has become a legal requirement for new cars and light trucks and will soon be required on commercial trucks. In Europe, China and Asia upcoming legal requirements will mandate TPMS be installed on all vehicles. The SecuNavi™/SecuTravel™ product will make roads safer, reduce fuel consumption, reduce CO2 emission and extend tires life,” he added.
