Paris, 20th October, 2009 – Lionax (Euronext: MLION), the Chinese automotive technology company and a global leader in tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) technology, today announced the launch of the second generation Digital Pressure-Eye, an external digital tire pressure sensor, which brings common sense to tire safety.
The Digital Pressure-Eye brings is intelligent, attractive, accurate, durable and simple to use. It provides real-time tire pressure safety by detecting and memorizing the appropriate tire pressure when first installed and then continuously monitoring it. When it then senses a dip in tire pressure it will give a warning flash indicating the need for tire maintenance - thereby reducing fuel consumption, extending tire life, reducing CO2 emissions and ultimately saving lives.

The second generation Lionax Digital Pressure-Eye is patented in Europe, the U.S. and Asia and improvements from the previous version include:
1) a digital micro processor and an innovative MEMS pressure sensor to deliver accuracy, intelligence and durability;
2) stainless steel housing to make it corrosion-proof, sleek, attractive and resilient; and
3) both low- and high-pressure versions for passenger and commercial vehicles.

The second generation Digital Pressure-Eye has fewer components and no moving parts, making it even more robust and reliable. In addition, it is scheduled to be enhanced with transmitter functions in the first quarter of 2010 and will provide the external sensor platform for all Lionax TPMS related products:
